I was wondering if there's anything i can do at home without going to a voice lesson teacher. I'm ok with going to one later but for now is there any at home things i can do to help? I open to any suggestions. Thanks

I have studied privately for a year, so I have a reasonable foundation. Assume I constantly move through the whole *comfortable* range of the voice. I am trying to develop a beautiful, natural, tension-free sound, and improve my intonation. I am willing to work as much as possible at this because it is a career for me. I'm currently striving for about 3 hours a day, which consists of mainly scales, arpeggios and long tones on a wide variety of vowels. I've done this for about 3 weeks now and have noticed some improvements. My voice does feel tired at the end of the day, but there's no pain or hoarseness. If I can practice more, I would like to. Also, any suggestions on what to concentrate on when I practice? What to think about, and what exercises to do? I want a tension-free sound with a nice vibrato (it only creeps in once in awhile for now). I will resume singing lessons in a few weeks.
No facetious answers please. I think only a professional singer or singing teacher would know.

This is my second year playing the flute in my school band. I've had feedback that when I'm holding long notes, I tend to go flat towards the end. I've tried my best to use my diaphragm to support my note and not play so loud but it doesn't seem to work.

Also, sometimes even though I don't touch my headjoint, the first time I play a note, I may be sharp. However the second time I play it, it may become flat. Why?

My last question... I can't reach the lowest note on my flute, C. However, when I try playing that note on another flute, I'm able to play it easily. Is there something I can do to my own flute to fix that problem?

P.S. I'm in 7th grade and only have 30 minutes to get rid of it.

Is there a medical basis to encourage people to sing more? Or, is the euphoria I experience from singing just me?

The OnDemand Voice Tutorial said that you're supposed to avoid eating dairy before you sing, but it didn't say why. Does it cause bloating...? Cramps...? I assume that eating dairy interferes with the quality of the sound somehow...?

Hi does anyone know of any good online electric guitar tutorials, tabs, music for free?
I know the basics and have played acoustic for a few years but I am out of practice and want to play more on my electric.
If anyone could reccomend any books that would be appricated as well but I do not want to spend too much.
