When you play out, any venue worth playing will have a PA (that even includes the trashiest punk rock dive bars, basements, and backyards) if someone puts on a show they should provide one-it's an unwritten rule.

If you're talking about for practice, you can run the mic through a ****ty guitar or bass amp, watch the gain though, and I wouldn't run it through your good amp, just in case. You could also check thrift stores for stuff like home kareoke(sp) machines.

Yep, it may artwork. If not, you want a preamplifier. besides the indisputable fact that that's not such an excellent theory... There are diffrent plugs, and also you'll finally end up wit an 3 inch plug in case you employ an adaptor... also, it it makes use of phantom power.... Btw, if it makes use of an Yamaha jack(the single with 3 pins), you'll come across adaptors for that, too.

buy a small practice guitar amp used like a peavey with sound modeling about 60 to 90 dollars and add a monitor box with a twelve or ten inch speacker on the auxillary or sound out jack in the back an old 8 ohm box and used cable and now the sound goes into the monitor so you hear the singing it will accept two channels of sound , or look in sam ash online for a four or eight channel board and then purchase the collumn speakers one at a time go to used music stores or a pawn shop and ask they hide the good used music equipment in the back or look in the local papers or at the musicians union bullitin board for used stuff there we built our boxes our selves and our light towers
