While in New Orleans a few days ago J.K Rowling explained headmaster Dumbledore from the Harry Potter series was gay!
What do you think abt him being gay?
Who already knew?

For a child the early adventures were an easy read of 150-200pages. The Chidren could get well into the story in just a few days.
Now the books are 600+ pages, ok for an adult, but a 10 year old?
My son read the early books at school in a term now each book is the equivelant of 3.
Less than half way he gave up on the big books so is JK just writing for adults or £££

Hawthorne published The Scarlet Letter in 1850. do you know anything about this? did he feel the same way about his contemporaries? can you give me like a short little summary either about him at the time or the story in the book he wrote at the time? or just any ideas..

JK Rowling recently told fans that Dumbledore from the Harry Potter series is gay... I know he didn't have a wife, and that in the 7th book he has a close relationship with Grindelwall, but what were the other signs? Do you thing it was good idea for JK Rowling to tell the public?

Albus Dumbledore, the headmaster of Hogwarts, is gay, Harry Potter author JK Rowling has revealed.
WHY! WHY ! NOW!.
She has made a Billion £`s with HP, NOW IT LOOKS LIKE SHE IS GOING FOR THE PINK £/$.
I think that there should be a Book Burning in every Town and City WORLD WIDE, Childeren are very inercent people and don`t need to know who`s Gay or Not.
I can see a real backlash from this with HP, having such a huge following from Children they will be asking there parents what does this mean? WHAT DO THEY TELL THEM.
