Ok, I have one question about a book. The book's name is Bud, not Buddy. The question is, How does the problem in the story get resolved. I just need that. Whoever gives the best description, I will choose them as the best answer for 10 points.

I got a couple of paperback novels from the library and all of them have less than 3 stars on amazon. I'm kind of pissed cause I can only go to this library once a month cause its 45 minutes away. gr. They sounded good! But I guess the paragraph on the back can sell a bad novel...

Can anyone believe the names J.K.Rowling picked for the next generation of children in the Harry Potter world.

Harry & Ginny the most unoriginal: James, Lily and Albus Severus

Ron & Hermione (gross couple Hermione could of done so much better) Rose and Hugo

Draco & Unknown wife: Scorpious (any one think of Scorpio from the Simpsons lol.)

Remus & Tonks: Teddy/ Theodore

The only name I like is Victorie which is the daughter of Bill and Fluer.

What names would you have picked and why? Where you happy with the names she picked?

Does anyone remember Take Me To My Friend by Hope Dahle Jordan. It was a suspense novel from the 1960s.

I'm a teenager and have basically read every form of book possible. My favorite authors are Tamara Pierce (Alana), Anthony Horowitz (Alex Rider), and James Patterson (When the Wind Blows, The Lake House, Maximum Ride). I'd like any suggestions you may have, they're all appreciated.

P.S:
All suggestions except for try the library because I've tried it numerous times already, and I've read all the books I could do that for. I want something new.

THANKS FOR EVERYTHING EVERYBODY!

It bugs me...really it does. My mom is petite, she is about 5'2...but that is still could be too tall to pass as a 12 year old boy. Were these women just really short back then? heh. And these women are always described with feminine curves....men don't have those curves...even little boys with some baby chub. What about their faces? Women, even 18 year olds, usually have some pouty lips. My lips are thin, but plump enough to know they are not a man's lips. And the cheek bones and the cute, pert nose? I just don't get it. lol.

what is the point of three years of advanced ,intense training if all they do is get killed. book 5 kingsley shacklebot , tonks, and mad-eye moody are well respected aurors but are out duelled by bellatrix. but she is killed by molly weasley. dolohov has beat aurors but is killed by the little charms teacher. the order of the pheonix could not beat the death eaters dumbledore took all twelve of them except bellatrix. the ministry tried to send aurors to protect harry and he laughed, he was better protected with hermione granger. in book 7 she took down two death eaters. at the battle of hogwarts the death eaters were beaten by professors, parents, and students NO Aurors. averege joes along with powerful wizards saved the day in the series so i ask you what is the training for and why do they need aurors what do you all think.

Harry didn't die because of his mother's protection or because of the Hallows?
People who say because of the Hallows, he didn't have the stone and cloak "with" him while he fought Voldemort, so how could it be?

I'm looking for something unique and interesting for my students to read this year. I tried My Antonia by Willa Cather last year and also have a novel set of Great Expectations, but today's students don't seem to really get interested in them.
