Yes, I loved it too. I found the end to be very satisfying. I love how things came full circle when he was chasing the kite for his friend's son at the end.

I've actually heard a lot of people criticize the book for being "low brow" or too "Oprah's book club", and that annoys me, because it's such a perfect book.
