I'm a teenager and have basically read every form of book possible. My favorite authors are Tamara Pierce (Alana), Anthony Horowitz (Alex Rider), and James Patterson (When the Wind Blows, The Lake House, Maximum Ride). I'd like any suggestions you may have, they're all appreciated.

P.S:
All suggestions except for try the library because I've tried it numerous times already, and I've read all the books I could do that for. I want something new.

THANKS FOR EVERYTHING EVERYBODY!

Briar Rose by Yolen

Goose Girl by Shannon Hale or any of her books really

You've probably tried the Phillip Pullman Dark Materials trilogy but I'll mention it just in case you haven't. Soon to be in a movie.

Try McCaffrey's Dragon Riders of Pern books, the first one is Dragonflight,or try LeGuin's earthsea books, or L'engle's Wrinkle in Time, or E Rose Sabin's School for Sorcercy, or Susan Cooper's Dark is Rising Sequence. If you've read all those, let me know and I'll come up with some more!

Breathing Under water by Alex Flinn I just finished reading it it's about a 16 year old who has to cope with his abusive relationship with his father after losing his relationship with his girlfriend Caitlin for his demanding ways and blind anger I was a really strong book and I didn't expect to connect with the character as much as I did

Another book I really liked was Romiette and Julio by Sharon M. Draper it's about a hispanic student from Texas having to move to Cinncinati and start over he meets Romiette and they end up becoming really close but Julio's father (and a gang called "The Family" aren't fond of it either) it's a really good book it's humorous realistic and sorta adventerous

Good Luck =) I've been looking for a good book lately too

On the Road by Jack Kerouac.

This book is an incredible force of nature that pretty much created the Beat generation. The beatniks were the young kids on the fringe of society, with their own standards of living.

Kerouac taped page after page of typewriter paper together to make one long page. As he wrote the book, at his typewriter, he would not have to pause to change paper. The book has that kind of a flow.

All of the Mary Higgins Clark books are enjoyable mysteries, especially if you like James Patterson. Happy reading!
