I haven't read the book in a long time and a friend and I are debating whether or not there is an element of cannibalism in the book. I've scoured the internet and can not find a definitive answer. Thank You!

There a hundreds of questions on here that are harry potter. How great would it be if they made a Harry Potter section under the books section here on Yahoo Answers? It would really rock!!! It would be easier for us Harry potter crazies to sort the ones out that we want to answer!!

I'm in college right now and I'm really getting into the written life. I've wanted to write alot of horror books in the fantasy kind of world but would occasionally include some non-fiction horror books. But for the fantasy/horror, what kind of education or classes are really great for me? I'm going for English major, is that wise? Some say I should go for art. I don't see why. there's one class called Major English Writers. I might look at that one. As far as a transfer, what university really has alot of classes for writers? Something that can really focus me into the world of writing. It makes it easier on the editors so they don't have to correct my potential manuscripts.
Oh, I would also like to ask. What books should I read to really see how fantasy/horror books are? I heard HP lovecraft is a good one but i haven't read anything from the author.

Do the students wear clothes under their robes? I remember having Harry Potter stickers that showed the trio wearing jeans and a sweater under their robes, but in OoP in Snape's worst memory, James turned him upside down and everyone could see his underwear. I'm really confused. Is it that Snape just didn't wear pants?

A seventeen year old boy and girl are playing around and calling names. what's a good comeback to 'dork' that isn't 's.l.u.t'? the forum that I'm posting my writing in doesn't allow s.l.u.t or whore.

I have started the novel out in first person from the point of view of an eighteen year old girl in high school looking back on an experience she had meeting a new guy in school and them becoming friends and falling in a child-type love.

i have already started, but the more I get into it, Im beggining to think the novel would do better in the point of view of a guy meeting a new girl in school, or of a guy who goes to his new school and befriends a girl.

what do you think? its never too late to start over, I always say, but Im not sure at all!

HELP!

Hardcovers are usually more expensive and heavier, but are often published prior to Paperback releases.
Normally, I pick paperbacks as they're cheaper and easier to tote around. However I tend to prefer Hardcovers for...
1) Scientific or Historical volumes (I might read multiple times)
2) Favourite photography, art, or poem collections

There's something about the massive volume of hardcovers that I find rather soothing compared to flimsy paperbacks.
Which do you prefer? Why?
