I've written a novel and I'm all done. I'm planning to send it to a publishing company. However, in order to do that and not get my stuff taken away from me... I need to know where I can get my novel copy-righted so I can send it off. Please help, thanks a lot.

My genre is mystery, fiction, scifi, romance. I like books that are supernatural (psychic, elemest..) even books with a theme of vampire, werewolf or whatever.
I need a good plot and a heroine or a strong character, something riveting and one you can't put down...

I read that book and I think is a really good book, its funny, is sad, is good. If you aready read that book how can you discuss or just give your point of view for the following:

1- Duscuss the use of discipline in the story that expands into thematic ideas. How the father deal with Byron? How the mother deal with Byron?

2- Many young people live in home with older brothers and/or sisters where one is juvenile delinquent. Discuss how realistic the lives of Byron, Kenny, and Joetta (Joy) are portrayed and how characters can become a voice of young readers.

Thankyou!
Hope find some interesting good advices.

I'm writing a novel currently, and I'm thinking of getting it published after I finish it (I'm only thirteen, so that's another question: think it's possible if my writing's good enough? I'm actually not that confident, but I can dream, can't I? :/). It has seven main characters that are completely different, do you think it's fine to switch point of view about every chapter? Or maybe during the chapter? I usually write fanfiction, and it's not really a problem with that, but I'm not sure about an actual original novel. I may just write it from third person, but I'm more comfortable writing from a character's suggestion. So do you think it would be weird to read a story that constantly changes point of view?

Thanks in advance~

All I ever hear about is the Harry Potter series and the Twilight series (young adult). Surely, there must be some books for adult readers that make people just as enthusiastic?

I'm asking because in English we have spent the last several months on the Harlem Renaissance and all their themes just seem to focus on oppression and nothing esoteric. Now we are being forced to read Their Eyes Were Watching God. The teacher is black and I am Korean and I would like to know if black literature has any real literary merit in comparison to white or Asian authors especially pertaining to Their Eyes Were Watching God.

What is the literary merit of this book by Zora Neale Hurston? I ask because my English teacher is assigning a lot of work for it and I would like to know if this book which previously I did not know of has literary merit. What is the philosophy behind the book and please give literary criticisms of it.

I am flying to Las Vegas from London in 4 weeks. Can anyone recommend a good book to take with me that is a recent release? I enjoyed the Dan Brown novels and also Robert Ludlum's Bourne Novels. I'd like a fast moving interesting book - ideally in paperback.
