if strangers meet
life begins-
not poor not rich
(only aware)
kind neither
nor cruel
(only complete)
(~)i not not you
not possible;
only truthful
-truthfully,once
if strangers(who
deep our most are
selves)touch:
forever

(and so to dark)

I think it's talking about your first impression of a stranger, and how you don't know whether they're rich or poor, nice or mean, etc. But don't get most of it after the (~). When he says "i not not you/ not possible," does he mean 'i can't reject you, it's impossible' or someting like that? any help is appreciated! thanks!

This might sound kinda odd, but i'm writing a book and the character goes to a new high school in the middle of the year. If you go to a school where you don't know anyone, do people generally approach you? Can people just tell me their experiences.

The inspiration was from a dream (that was last night) that was similar with a few added details, how do you like it? Is it a good intro? If I wanted to write some stuff that actually could happen in real life, what else could I write?

(two songs that deal with the points of view of the two main charaters and then the intro)

I need a poem that uses symbols like a poem that talks about an american flag and an eagle to represent America or something like that.

I love to write. I write many poems and have tried to write stories. I have two that are half written. My problem is when i read them back to myself they sound like a 10 yr old has written them, their might be the odd paragraph that i like but it sounds so jeuvenile. Also i fear im becoming a slave to adjectives in effort to make my story interesting. How can i change how I write?

I'm a freshman in high school but my reading level was college-level last time I was assessed (8th grade), and I'm looking for book recommendations. Our assignment in English is to chose a book independently and complete a project on it. Since I'm in honors, the book needs to be somewhat advanced (if not college level, college-bound level).

I'm looking for something that not only has a compelling, brilliant plot (with twists, if possible), but deeply crafted characters and beautiful, lyrical prose. I want something that isn't dry and distant, but is still deep.

Genre doesn't matter, so long as the above is present. :)

No chick-lit, though. Please. No crime/action/war novels either. Anything else goes. Thank you. I would prefer YOUR recommendations rather than a link to a website.

What is the best book you have ever read? And what book would you recommend for somebody who doesn't have much free time (like one you can just dip in and out of)?

The book takes place in a small town in Iowa. The girl is the daughter of a cop and was abused as a child. It is based on a true story though I am not sure that it says that. There is more than 1 book by this author. It is a female author. She has lived in numerous places including Albany, Wisconsin.
