Yes and no.
I enjoyed reading all the Harry Potter books, and while they aren't the most well-written books in the world I think they serve a very important purpose. They have made kids turn off the TV, put away the video games, and actually pick up a book. As much as those trendy books can be irritating when they're always being asked about, it's nice to see people actually caring about books!

Yes, I'm tired of Harry Potter. I didn't really care for the first book, and the only reason I read it was to see what everyone was raving about. The only good thing I have to say is, at least kids are reading. I try to stick to classics, lately I've been getting more and more into classic french writers. But unfortunatelt most people my age(I'm 21 by the way.) think that Harry Potter is the best series ever written, so I don't really have a lot of people to discuss the books I like with. In regards to the Harry Potter films, I think they should have stopped after the first. I enjoyed the effects of the film, but in my opinion the plots and effects of the sequels have not lived up to the standards set by the first. I especially hate when people say "How can you not like Harry potter?" It's my opinion, I don't like it...it does not appeal to me as a reader. I don't understand why people can't understand that simple fact; that it is my opinion and I am allowed to have my own opinion.

Whoa Whoa Whoa. I do not know where you are going with this. "Twilight" is better than it may seem and happens to be my favorite book in the world. Harry Potter is a great series and everyone should read them at a point in their life. They are very well written. I really don't understand why you are saying this. Because I treasure those books, I don't care what anyone else thinks, I never let anything happen to those very books you just mentioned...so..go shove ur head in the toilet. JK about the head in the toilet..but seriously..if you are tired of hearing about them, go read something u DO like..jeeze its as simple as that.

I think Twilight is a hype, but Harry Potter will always be good. I remember someone once said the same thing about Lord of the Rings. We know it will always be remembered and read.
There are annoyances when people won't shut up about cheese books, such as the Clique series, and the Princess Diaries.
They are to fake in my opinion.

It's called hype.
some of they most hyped up and dissapointing things ive experienced?
Superman Returns
A Million Little Pieces by James Frey
King Kong
Oprah...lol. I just had to add that.
YES I am sick of hearing about all of it.
Perhaps the media should just shut up and let people decide what they want to read and watch without throwing biased publicity in their faces.
