I'm struggling with this topic and have to write a deconstruction on the story. I understand the concept, but I'm having trouble applying it to this specific story. Any examples, explanations etc. would be appreciated.

I read Moby Dick and it was an excruciatingly painful experience. For the life of me I can't understand how pontificating about the philosophy on the whiteness of the whale chapter after dragging chapter became a classic. I don't want to start War and Peace unless it can capture my imagination... By the way I didn't especially enjoy Pride and Prejudice either but it was worlds better than Moby Dick!

All I remember is it had rings on the cover, there was a sarcastic female protagonist whose nemises were a pair of twins who followed her through different colored rings, which led to different worlds. Blue ring = water world, brown ring = slow, earthy world, etc. If you died in one of these worlds, someone could drag your body back through the ring and you'd be brought back to life. I have checked various databases (library of congress, local library catalog where I first got the book, amazon, powells, b&n), but don't seem to have enough info to identify this book or its author. Was a great read and would love to find it again. It had to be published before 1991 cuz that's when I graduated high school, and I read it when I was a junior or senior.

I found a book titled " The Master Key," by Charles F. Haanel. Copyright date 1919, No publisher, Can anyone out there help me understand what this book is, It is not the same as The Master Key System,
I can not find a publisher in this book, I don't belive any pages are missing. It contains 128 numbered pages, The boards are Red , It is a Hard Cover, Page two has a letter to Chas, Haanel by Napoleon Hill. Thanking him for the Master Key System course, That he feels his success is due to his knowledge from The Master Key System.

On page number 7, Starts part one, Part 2 starts on page 17, The Master Key Systems starts page 31 to page 38, followed by another letter, than a description of parts 1 to 24, Than followed by more letters to Charles Haanel, Page 53 Master Key Resume by Mrs Coe Dixon, Than again followed by more letters,

I am not sure what this book is, Was it a promo book for The Master Key Systems, If anyone out there more about this book, Please let me know!
