Jane Eyre, by Charlotte Bronte. Its got so many levels hidden beneath the plotline, its beautiful. I've read it a dozen or more times and always find some new meaning or layer.

"A Boy's Life" by Robert McCammon is the best novel I have ever read. It is filled with wonder, excitement, and action. This novel is almost 1800 pages long. When I taught at a Job Corps site, I loaned the book to a 23 year old young man who had never completed even a short novel. In the two years I worked with him, this young man read the book twice!! I finally gave it to him so he could take it home and share it with his family! Pretty neat, huh? Have a wonderful day! Annie

Probably Don Quixote by Cervantes.
But I also really like The Journey to the East by Hermann Hesse and Satanic Verses by Salman Rushdie.
