Ray Bradbury. He can pack a lot of punch into his short works, namely pieces from The Martian Chronicles. His short stories are very descriptive and detailed yet use surprisingly little space.

Edgar Allan Poe. He was master of the short story and believed that no story should be longer than you can read in one sitting.

At the moment, it is, " I ". yes I have given myself that place. sorry. It was not a selfish thought or act, it was a must for growth and prosperity. and besides. I do need to save my money for the day when I can send the story off to a really fine publishing company .

Stephen King. His short memories tend to be more desirable horror and a lot less fantasy, compared to the novels that are more desirable fantasy/ sci. fi. All 3 have their professionals and cons. short memories are outstanding because many times you may study it in a unmarried sitting in case you want. Novels are outstanding because you may want to be more desirable distinct. Novellas are form of middle of the line i imagine. no longer short adequate to study in a unmarried sitting, yet no longer lengthy adequate to be as distinct as a singular. i visit assert that my well known action picture diversifications are Stephen King's novellas. the quick memories many times make respectable video clips. the flicks made out of novels are terrible, they omit a lot element, and they continuously change the ending. the in elementary words action picture I easily have considered that replaced into more desirable sensible then the e book replaced into "The Shawshank Redemption". This replaced right into a novella, and the different 2 video clips made out of an identical e book of novellas are particularly sturdy. they're "The stand" and "Apt student". Sorry to be lengthy winded.

W. Somerset Maugham. His short stories are highly underestimated.
