I love books in general. Each time someone new comes around, they are nice and fresh and have new ideas and themes and creations. Then they are the best new thing at the moment. But it changes week by week. I cannot even say there is one "must read" in all the probably close to a hundred thousand books that I have read so far. All I can say is that variety and freedom to choose what to read is the best thing in the world.

That depends a lot on what you like to read. As far as what was passed to us as "classics" in school my favorite was To Kill a Mockingbird and I also liked Of Mice and Men. I like Danielle Steel and Nora Roberts and Fern Micheals in the romance category. John Saul, Stephen King and Dean Koontz in the horror/suspense category. Mary Higgins Clark in the mystery category.

I read on average one book a day--I love to read--my favorite author right now is Nora Roberts, and since I have read all of her books so far, I am reading Debbie MacComber--she's good also.

I read a lot, and right now I'm reading James Herriots' books. It's kind of like an autobiography of his life. There is a whole series of them, and they are really funny and a good read.
