Cause in book five, Sirius and harry were looking at the big family tree and Harry saw that sirius is related to the Malfoys. and Sirius said that all the "pureblood" families are inter-related. So.....Harry's dad was pureblood, right?....so does that mean that Harry is related to the Blacks, the Malfoys, the Weasleys, and all the other pureblood wisards? Just curious...

I ask this thinking to J.K. Rowlings, Hillary Clinton, and others.
It seems to be an attraction of blonde writers, though real talented writers were brunettes or naturally blondes.

My question, is someone writes a book should she change especially for the cover photo? Would be more appealing, successul if the writer would be a blonde? No matter what the subject of the book is.

Sonnet V of Pablo Neruda's One Hundred Sonnets of Love.
Anyone that can help, please do.

I did not touch your night, or your air, or dawn:
only the earth, the truth of the fruit on clusters,
the apples that swell as they drink the sweet water,
the clay and the resins of your sweet-smelling land.

From Quinchamali where your eyes began,
to the Frontera where your feet were made for me,
you are my dark familiar clay: touching your hips,
I touch the wheat in its fields again.

Woman from Arauco, maybe you didn't know
how before I loved you, I forgot your kisses.
But my heart went on, remembering your mouth - and I went on

and on through the streets like a man wounded,
until I understood, Love: I had found
my place, a land of kisses and volcanoes.

i believe i saw it at the tate modern book store, but i can't remember the name and/or author.... it was a book with collections of images that were meant to help you break the language barrier. like if you were trying to talk to someone and didn't know the word for 'egg' you could just point at the picture of the egg. does this sound familiar to anyone??

I've ben trying to find book clubs or groups that meet in the Salt Lake/Provo area of Utah but I'm having some trouble finding them. Does anyone know how book clubs advertise? Perhaps if I knew that I could find them more easily.

I actually like critics. They may sometimes make everything seem depressing, but other times they're really funny.

I have written a book, I classify it as romance. I've spoken with one of my favorite author's of similar books, but her answers to my questions were somewhat generalized as she said her agent and attorney's required them to be.
What I need to know is do I send a full copy of the manuscript to each publisher I'm interested in? Or would I send a selection? Do I need to have the work copywritten before shopping it to make sure it's not given to another author to claim as their own?
Mainly I want to know the best way to get the book out there, into the hands of possibly interested publishers.

He would be perfect would he not. And still alive? It would make a great plot for a movie. Any ideas on how to go about it? Make him a vampire or something?
