I've never read the book, but I did see the movie and it was excellent! They always say that the book is better than the movie, so the book must be pretty good.

it is a good book for it's time and has great lessons that are learned...it's one of those books in which u have 2 look more into things 2 figure out the more complex explanation...it is also pretty suspenseful towards the end...overall i would rate it a 8 out of 10 stars...not 2 shabby

It's a great novel...
I've seen about five questions on that book this past week....is this a huge class assignment??? There is a movie, clift notes and the best would be just to read the book...

It's not like one of those page turner books and if you read it, the first time you probably won't like it. But if you read it again and really look into all of the meaning behind the words, the book is incredible.

I am 17 years old and it was one of the best books I have ever read.The story is compelling and it does not slowdown. You will really like all the characters and get very emotionally involved with the story.

If your an intelligent individual who likes to read then it is a very good piece of literature. It teaches of the hate and racism in the early 1900's.

It is a great book that shows how unfair it was in the "old days". You should definitely read it.
