When writing a book that is based in historical times, which is more apporaite: using 'you' or 'ye', 'thou', 'thee', 'dost', etc???
I've read books that goes both ways (fiction books of this time based in the past).
Some say 'you', others 'ye'. I'm just wondering which is more correct, from a present-day literary point-of-view???

Hey, Does anyone know for sure if the sonnet is about a man comparing his love to summer? Or is it a woman comparing the beauty of a man?

I heard that sonnets 1-17 were about a man trying to preserve his beauty, so i got confused

This isn’t for school but I just finished reading this story and it confuses me. I would have guessed that the baby would be brain-dead from the number of times that he was dropped on his head. At the end of the story when the baby is talking, do you suppose he really is or that the narrator is just imagining what he would say if he did considering that the author gives us insight that the narrator has become very imaginative as a way of making his life seem more interesting?

And I really don’t understand the relation to the bible for this story except that they call him James but maybe that’s because I know absolutely nothing of religion.

Sunny green meadows
with wild growing flowers
a lovers paradise
lanes lined with hedgrows
falls of delicate showers
for here we shall fantasize

carresing the moment
with gentle feelings of bliss
as warm soft breezes blow
the overwhelming content
of that first tender kiss
as rivers of emotion flow

the grass will whisper
while close to our ears
and carpet the earth were we lie
we induce our surrender
show our joy with tears
it is happiness makes us cry.

My 10 1/2 year old niece has written some great stories. I was wondering if we could send them in to a place that would make them into books? I don't mean that they would put them in a book store, I want them to make us a couple dozen copies to give them to family and friends.

Most people when they want to have a copy of two of their childrens work, they have their child write it, then they go to Staples and have them put the little ringy things on it to make it a 'book.' I want this 'book' that me and my niece are making to be like an actual book you buy in stores, (like REAL binding.)

P.S. Her books are pretty long, about 80 pages typed.

Thank you.
