why should we remember Dizzy Gillespie???? i have to write an essay on that but i'm having writer's block....please help any ideas to why we should remeber him?

He was one of a kind. He played a horn like no one had ever seen and played in a way no one would ever play it. Any horn teacher would have scoffed at his technique. He wrote and played a whole new kind of sound that was all over the map and considered CRAZY when he first did it. Dizzy was the perfect name for him. He made jazz go in a new direction.
