writers critique group?

Question

I want to write a historical romance novel i have some what of a clue what my book will be about but other than that i have no clue where to start where to get historical information!! they say it is good to join a group, i am at a loss....can anyone out there help me? I have no idea how to even begin, i would really appreciate any guidance!! thank you

I am an aspiring writer also, and I have many self-help books that I've acquired through Writer's Digest magazine. Go to writersdigest.com, and you'll find all you need. I'd advise subscribing to the magazine and book club. Good luck!
