My cousin was killed in a car accident and I can't imagine how his mother must feel having to bury her son. I though maybe someone might know of a helpful book that may help her get through this rough time .

I'd start with an oldie but a goodie, "When bad things happen to good people", Harold S. Kushner, Schocken Books (c)1981.

Apparently, there's an updated version, with a new preface, published under the same name in 2001.

There are also all kinds of peer support groups. You might also help his mother by tracking down one or two such groups and giving her the contact info.

Yes, there is a really good book written by James Dobson called "When God doesn't make sense". It can provide some comfort and insight to a person who has had a tragic loss. I'm sorry for all of you. I think the most difficult thing in life is to bury a child.

"His Bright Light" by Danielle Steele. Of course, this deals with a suicide, but it still deals with the death of her son. And it's very easy to read.
