I’ve written a book and now I have to decide on a title. Based solely on the words which of these books would you most want to buy and read?
1. The Necklaces
2. The Meddalions
3. The Pendants

It is suppose to be The Necklace (or medallion or pendant) of W*****.
I just don't want to spoil it.

How about the name of the main character as a title. Very unimaginative but it made J.K. Rowling famous.

First of all, I would rule out Medallions, for some reason it turns me off from the book. And secondly, I think that between Necklaces and Pendants, it should be your own choice depending on who you're trying to sell the book to. Necklaces sounds more feminine, so if this book is geared towards women readers than I would go with that, and Pendants seems more general in respect to gender. So if your target audience is both sexes, I would go with Pendants. Hope that helps!

Consider the origins and hidden meanings of the words, as these will act subconsciously on the minds of your readers. Pendant implies something heavy, serious (pensive...). Medallion implies a medal, as in an award, and also seems more ancient, a bronze medallion, something more mythical. A necklace makes me think about a person (their neck anyway), also it's a more elegant word, there is the "lace" which is elegant... Also it's a more modern word than the others.

So, given those associations, chose whichever suits best the title of your book.

I take super offense that "agility titles" have been centred singly and particularly as no longer counting. i'm no longer no longer saying, in any respect, that only an agility call warrants the breeding high quality of a canine. yet an agility call proves so lots greater with reference to the actual soundness, trainability, and biddability of a canine than a CGC, or an obedience call.....or a CH for that count. As others have mentioned, it relies upon on the breed. With Shelties, i'd look for CHs in pedigree.....yet overall performance titles too. i became into "in the breed" too long to no longer comprehend there are various conformation champions that are mentally unsound...and that quite can not exact gait their way out of a paper bag. they might have particularly heads, an honest earset and many coat..yet what sturdy is that in the event that they don't have a sturdy temperament as a "puppy" and have not the steadiness to run? i'd by no ability seek for a Border Collie from an AKC conformation breeder. i do no longer prefer a canine that looks like a Border Collie. i prefer a canine that ACTS like a Border Collie. If i could no longer come across a muddle from herding father and mom, i'd look to agility titles. of direction, the well-being certs are #a million.

Well comming from a writer my advice to you is think of what would decribe your book best and what you as a reader not a writer, would like it to be called. Always put yourself in your audience's place. That way you can think like a person who is going to be buying the book. By the Way I like The Pendants the best.
