Cause in book five, Sirius and harry were looking at the big family tree and Harry saw that sirius is related to the Malfoys. and Sirius said that all the "pureblood" families are inter-related. So.....Harry's dad was pureblood, right?....so does that mean that Harry is related to the Blacks, the Malfoys, the Weasleys, and all the other pureblood wisards? Just curious...

Of course. In link 1 you'll find a rather complete family tree.

As you can see, just about every major character in the novels is on there. And there is also a 'Charlus Potter' on there who may be an ancestor of James Potter. This cannot be confirmed, however.

The chart was released from Rowling herself. Nobody but her knows much more than this.

I agree with Doctor Why. I think he is related to the Blacks, Malfoys and the Weasleys, but most likely quite distantly or through marriage.

If you read book five again in the chapter 'The Most Noble House of Black' you'll hear Sirius explain some of the connections through the Blacks and the Weasleys.

No, they are in no way related. The closest they come to being related has something to do with Draco's mom is a sister to Beatrix Lestrange who are in some way (I don't recall how, I thik cousin's but am not certain) to Sirius Black. But that is still no where near being a blood relative considering Black is his Godfather (or guardian) to Harry Potter.

His Mom was a mudblood, dude. And malfoy's kind of family only likes purebloods, only marries purebloods. I don't think the Potters were like that if James married a muggle-born person.

Plus, they probably aren't considering thier histories are very different, and do Harry and James look anything like the weasleys?
