It's an assignment that I have to write with a partner. Our two characters have to meet. Her's is a story set in "our" time. While mine is a fantasty story. So we've decided that our characters will meet in a book. Her character will go through a scene in her life, interrupting my story.

Partner's character is Alexis and mine is Will.

Alexis is a teenager and will go to a party, which has drugs. Her best friend, Jack finds out and tells her not to go. But she does anyways. Jack tells Alexis's parents and Alexis gets in trouble when she comes home.

Will tries to retake his kingdom from the current king who killed his father for it.
In one of my previous story, my character Will gets betrayed by his best friend (Will saved his life, that was how they met. Dralco-the friend was working for the king) So in this story it is about the post-betrayal. I can't think of a good story for Will that will kind of relate to Alexis since Will has already been betrayed.

Through these novels, the authors demonstrate the crucial role the mentor plays in the development of an individual psychologically, spiritually, and culturally, without whom, maturation would be impossible.

I'm 13-years-old and I've written a few 'books'. I'd like to publish them, but, I'm not sure how to. Is there anyone that would publish a book written by a thirteen-year-old. They're pretty long, fiction/sci-fi, and as far as grammar and spelling, they do a pretty good job.

I'm an avid reader, but a friend of mine always argues with me that reading is a waste of time because many books have been made into movies. I think that reading has its own perks that a movie can't offer - like you use your imagination while you read to envision the characters, scenery, etc, and it's more interesting that way. What other benefits can you think of in regards to reading instead of watching a movie?

My character has just been betrayed. Does this sound like realistic, believable? This is my first paragraph:

It was a cold hard feeling. It took away any sort of energy. The body was unable to stand in agony as the pain collapsed the spine and tightens the inside of the body, gripping harder and harder. He wanted to tear himself apart because of his stupidity. Why had he opened up? He had shared everything with this man, his secrets, feelings, things he had never told anyone else. Each betrayal begins with trust. That was what Will had given him.

Hi! I'm basicially a gigantic fan of the HP book series( I also like the movies), now here is my question: In the upcoming movie, the OotP, they seem to be portraying H/L romance. Do you agree? I, myself am a fan of the ship, why I'm asking this question is the recent picture of Daniel Radcliffe and Evanna Lynch holding hands... So what do you think?
Note: H/L means Harry Potter and Luna Lovegood
