HELP!!! People who are good at writing essays/thesis statements?

I am writing a term paper about Bless me, Ultima and Tuesdays with Morrie.... I just wanted to make sure this thesis actually has a point/significance... also.. if anyone knows a better way to word it because I feel like it needs to be reworded
Through these novels, the authors demonstrate the crucial role the mentor plays in the development of an individual psychologically, spiritually, and culturally, without whom, maturation would be impossible.

The reason I suggest this is because your actual thesis probably has more to do with the *importance* of the mentor than the types of development. The latter seems like it merely enhances the former.

" Through the novels Bless me and Ultima and tuesdays with morrie the aughthors demonstarate the crucial role mentors play in development psychologically, spirratually and culturly of the indivieual, and the impossablility of maturity without them. .... (not the best way written probably but i tried ) : )
