I dont like murder mysteries or crime dramas. I like to read funny books (david sedaris) or interesting like Hunter S thompson, charles bukowski or John fante.

I gotta work tomorrow and have nothing to read.

I've just read MONSTER, by Kody Scott, now known as Sanyika Shakur. I would really love to be able to send this guy some fan mail, but I can't find his address or any means of contacting him. Any help out there? Suggestions? I've exhausted many search engines as well as many key words/phrases. Please help.

I'm trying to find the source of a quote used by Ms. Cassidy in her review of a book by Mr. Alan Judd, a biography of Ford Madox Ford, the review appeared in the NY Times in 1990s, She or Mr. Judd will be able to clarify the source of the quote.

Thanks for any help in locating either Ms. Cassidy or Mr. Judd.

Hi, I am doing a project about banned books and i was wondering if there is anyone out there that knows about books that were banned simply because they were by an african american author. Also if you know any books that were banned just for racial issues in general like use of the n word. I was a keen reader of Enid Blyton books as a child - The Magic Faraway Tree, Famous Five and Noddy. Do these books still enthrall children of today like they use to? Or is it Harry Potter or nothing? (I'm not knocking JK Rowling by the way)!
