I'm working on a multi-genre project for my English class, and my topic is "The Effects of the German Occupation on the Netherlands and its People in WWII." One of the required genres is a short story. I've poured through Google results for hours, and haven't had any luck. Any story relating to this topic by a published author meets the criteria -- does anyone have any idea where I could find such a piece of literature?

Of course, despite my topic, I need a story that is in the English language (or at least comes with a translation from Dutch).

Im writing an essay on Native Son, by Richard Wright. I really want to write the essay about Biggers impulsivity, and how the result of his impulsivity often differs from when he thinks things through logically. I dont know where to start though. I want to look at both murder scenes as well as the fight with gus in the pool hall. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what good points to bring up? or what i can write? thank you

need to compare 3 books for a high school paper preferably with similar themes and or writing style anything that runs across them. I am keen on women's issues as well as asian authors. Something that reflects social issues through writing. Any suggestions, authors, book titles or resources that can come in handy when i write my paper?
thank you!

It is a book I saw in the shops a while ago and I have forgotton the name.
It has a round furry dog's bottom on the front and a button to press that make's a fart noise. It was sooo funny. My nephew would love it! They refered to it as a "bottom burp"
