There is this book I have been thumbing through called "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" It's about what the rich teach their kids that the middle clas does not. Any thoughts on the book?

I feel that the book has good info regarding the foundations of entrepreneurship, but the advice is often repetitive. And how many of us has a "rich dad" to guide us with our financial management, unless we get a financial expert from the bank and that would mean spending more $$$$$... and you shouldn't forsake your 401K. I'd rather follow another financial expert, Suze Orman's, financial advice because she's so much more convincing.

My husband swears by these books. He should really be the one answering this question. He has all the books by this author. My thoughts based on what I've gathered by him are that if you're looking to make money without having to go out there and 'work' for it, this is what you're looking for. My husband want's to retire both of us by the time we're 40 (10 years from now) by smart investing and buisness moves. I guess you have to have the time to learn about this and then committ yourself to the principles they teach. Not sure if any of this is helpful...like I said, should be my husband answering!! Good luck.

I found it interesting, but I would not say it was helpful. I do however admire his entrepreneurship starting from a very young age as a comic book lender.
