For my brother, who's 12, I'm planning on getting the following books:

1. Can Adults Become Human by Jim Benton
2. Eragon
3. The Lightening Thief (Books 1 and 2) by Rick Riordan

If you've read any of these books, PLEASE let me know if they're OK. Especially Eragon because I've heard many mixed reviews. Also, if you know any other FUNNY books that're decent for 12 year olds, PLEASE let me know.

Someone read a book to me when I was little about these creatures, im not sure if they were human or what but I remember that it was some sort of society that would be ranked by how many stickers they had recieved by the Gov ( i presume) and thats how good of people they were... but then there was one who everyone thought who was bad because he didnt have any stickers..... but he was good its just that he didnt believe in the stickers so they wouldnt even stick to him.

Please someone help me find this book.... Changed my prespective on life on a very young age.

My brother is 12 and he loves to read but he's incredibly picky. He really likes Harry Potter and funny books like Dear Dumb Diary, etc.

He hates Pendragon but he likes Raven's Gate and anything by Garth Nix (but he's read all of those).

What books should I get him????

Whenever I have a test or something in class I can easily remember the material so I can get a passing grade on the test, but now that I am in college and am paying good money for it, I want to start understanding. So I wanted to know if anyone had any advice they could give me on how to better my understanding of subjects, or if you know of any websites that has information like that on it I would greatly appreciate it.
