I have found a book in my attic that is called Modern Miracles by Rev. H.T Davis. The copyright says 1901, but i have looked online for days now and can't find not one reference to the book or the author. Some help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your answers.

I have to do a project and I want to make sure I have everything right. Is this the correct order of events forDimsdale?: (also if something is wrong or can be added, please do)
1.Reverend Arthur Dimsdale is unaffected by Pearl and Hester. He doesn’t seem to pay them any particular attention and it does not bother him.

2.Dimsdale defends Hester at the governor’s mansion and persuades others to allow Hester to keep Pearl.

3.Dimsdale starts to deliver powerful sermons to his congregation. He is confessing to sins, but the congregation sees it as a “figure of speech” and doesn’t think he is the one that has sinned.

4.Dimsdale begins torturing himself because the sin is starting to get to him and he is taking it out on himself.

5.Dimsdale, Hester, and Pearl meet on the scaffold. Once the three of them hold hands, the letter “A” appears in the sky

6.Hester and Dimsdale meet in the forest.

7.Dimsdale’s sins finally catch up to him and he dies in Hester’s hands on the scaffold

Mine is 'The Black New Yorkers'. I had no idea that my people had such a rich history in all the 5 boroughs of NYC, dating back to slavery days. They even had the written records of businesses down in the Wall Street area owned by black men and women. And the pictures were wonderful. I found myself traveling to some of the sites just to see if these places still exist(like, did you know the 1st African-American elementary school in NYC was right across the street from the big New York Public Library on 42nd and 5th aves?) It was just a really great read-so great, I read all 500-plus pages in less than a week!

What's yours?

For my 12th grade English class for a thesis paper. It has to be about a topic, like abortion, gay rights, etc...
For example My Sister's Keeper was about stem cell research.
But not that book we just read it in English

A good interesting book, a page turner type, not a boring one

Thanks

They possibly had large teeth, possibly pointy ears. I think they may have lived under the earth. Caves? I can barely remember this book from my childhood. Any help is appreciated!

I would like to know if anyone can appraise a play that my father-in-law has. It is an old Shakespeare play that was printed in 1756. I was just wondering if anyone knew how much it would be worth.

I have to do a short story for school. My story is gonna be about a man who wakes up in a small cave behind a waterfall. I might make the cave in the middle of the cliff.

I need suggestions for obstacles or how to end it.
