ok, this may sound really stupid but my father insist's I replace my now broken laptop myself. Only problem with that is I don't have a job, and can't get one due to school, and all the studying and extra-curricular junk i've been doing. Please if you can help me find someone who can pay me for my writing, including short fictions and poetry I would be really grateful.

Don't lecture me on how poetry is free either,nothing is free in this economical mess, everthing's getting more expensive, and peaple aren't getting any richer. So PLEASE help!

I remember reading as a child a book about these little people/animal type things that were sad about the world and built themselves into a little brick or mud tower type thing. I also remember the end was sad because they took their last look at sunlight. I was discussing the book and for the life of me can't remember or even locate the book or anything like it .I seem to recall the title being something like "the ----------- people". I don't konw if that is it though and if so the middle word still escapes me. Surely I can't be the only one on the planet who read this thing. If it helps jog any memories, the book was illustrated all in brown and gray, of the much I'm certain. This really serves no purpose but to satisfy my mind and to find the book to have for my kids someday. PLEASE HELP!!!

My mother and I have found a publishing company that is interested in publishing a book that we wrote. We have received a copy write on it. Are we in essence selling the copy write to the publisher? And if the title and sections of the piece are altered, does someone need to re-apply for a second copy write?
We are obviously novices but thrilled that our book will be put in print!
Thanks

First: Does anyone know how the events went down that lead to Hagrid getting Sirius' motorcycle to take Harry back to his aunt's and uncles'?

Second: Does anyone know how Dumbledore came to have James' invisibility cloak to pass it along to Harry? It's said to be a very important question...

I watched Much Ado About Nothing and in the poem they recite the poem Hey Nonny Nonny Sigh no more, ladies, sigh nor more;
Men were deceivers ever;
One foot in sea and one on shore,
To one thing constant never;
Then sigh not so,
But let them go,
And be you blithe and bonny;
Converting all your sounds of woe
Into. Hey nonny, nonny.

Sing no more ditties, sing no mo,
Or dumps so dull and heavy;
The fraud of men was ever so,
Since summer first was leavy.
Then sigh not so,
But let them go,
And be you blithe and bonny,
Converting all your sounds of woe
Into. Hey, nonny, nonny.

As in, do you find character development the most important? The plot? A feel to the novel you can't explain? What are some things you generally like? What are things you dislike? I'd just like a general feel for people's feelings regarding their reading experience, and any contribution would be appreciated.
