1. Where were the main theatres of battle during the war? In which specific areas were Canadians involved?
2. What is Lebensraum or "living space" mean? Austria had been taken over rather easily by Nazi Germany in 1938. Why was this so? What excuse did Hitler use to remilitarize the Rhineland and to take over the Sudtenland of Czechoslovakia?
3. What event caused Britain, France, and Canada to declare war on Nazi Germany in 1939? Why is it significant that Canada did NOT declare war the same day as Britain?
4. What event in 1941 caused the Soviet Union to join sides with the western allies? What did Stalin continuously ask the western allies to do for the Soviet Union from 1941 to 1944? How did Britain and Canada respond to this request in 1942?
5. Which two British victories stopped Nazi Germany from invading and taking over the island of Great Britain?

That's all of them! I did 20 more of these on my own. I just can't find the answers anywhere, and I need some help!

naming some Catholic artists please?

I am doing an assignment on what it means to be Catholic and I have to choose ouevres that reflect the beliefs of the Catholic church.
Please, refer to artists whose pieces actually imply they were Catholic. I don't really care whether or not Jackson Pollock was Catholic! lol

I made little pawns for a boardgame out of modeling clay, but it won't dry and harden. I tried to bake it, but in the first few minutes, it melted a little bit. I also tried to leave it out, but its been 2 days and its still soft. A lot of people will be handeling these so leaving it soft isn't an option.

I am buying a photo album for my grandma for Christmas and there's a plate on it that you can have a message engraved on. But I can't really think of what to have put on it. I was thinking her name and then some little message below it. It can hold 6 lines of text. Anyone have any ideas? Sarcastic-free please.

Do you experience the same thing?
Is it because we have no time because of responsibilities, or because we become more aware of the world that surrounds us?
Or do we become more slow as adults and lose our brain's agility?
