difficult to say... some favorites would be:
East of Eden
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn
The Bell Jar
Catcher in the Rye

classic books are always good. i do like The Outsiders, too.

Its really hard to pick just one.I really couldn't. Illusions, The Bridge Across Forever, and One all by Richard Bach are Amazing.Everyone should have to read all three. From the Corner of His Eye by Dean Koontz is probably the most entertaining book I've ever read.
