yes Anatolia is present day Turkey. Anatolia was a ancient term for the stretch of land region that connected ancient Europe with Asia. located between the Mediterranean sea and the black sea. it derived from the Greek term for east and from Turkish derivations for "Ana" & "Dolu" for full mother in relation to Turkish belief .
