With current headlines of a newborn being born with extra hands and extra legs. Would you consider this a sign of evolution or rare deformity that would have to call for extreme measures. Would you consider the human race still primitive due to our own fears of the unknown and evolution?

Some people told me not to go and read Eragon because of plagiarism - and I see their point. But plagiarism aside, what other factors would you say will not make Eragon an enjoyable read?

Please answer only if you can give me reasons NOT to read. I have people saying that I SHOULD read already.
Thanks a lot!

Now that we know that Professor Dumbledore was gay does anyone think differently of him? If you didn't hear about that already YES Dumbledore is gay. JK Rowling confirmed it.

Did you ever have an original idea that you were proud of? Did you invent something cool? Did you have a revolutionary theory? Or found way to improve life for everybody else in some way? What is it?

Please no ES'ers.
Thank you

Sadie

You were the foundation in my past
The touchstone that kept me upon solid ground.
The light that lifted me from me from darkness that did surround.
You gave me your love and sweet kisses when in my most dire time of need
You have loved me always unconditionally.

You have been in my life for so many years
The love I have always cherished,
The thought of you removed from me brings constant tears and pain.
For the love that I share with you, no other can claim.
You have loved me always unconditionally.

Your age has come to show others that you are slowing down
Yet, I still see you the as when we found one another.
I am called selfish for not wanting to let you go
From the illness of that which you now hold

For those of you who know me and my writing, your thoughts and suggestions.....

Peace & Love,
Sam

I don't know how to read music, just pick up and play basic chords and then go with what sounds best. It's hard to get better that way. There is no time for in person lessons. Anyone had any luck with any of the learning programs out there?

OK, here's the deal. I want an external flash unit, only because I want some kind of motion-stopping power without the harsh "direct light" effect. I want to be able to bounce it, diffuse it...(by the way, when they say defuse, do they mean soften it so it's not so harsh?) plus I want more power.
The only problem is that I also want an X to 300mm (the first Focal Length doesn't really matter, only if it's below 100) I figure that I could save money by getting an IS lens to freeze the motion. The only problem is, I have no Idea how much it'll help with low shutter speeds, and yes I know the "focal length>higher than SP>Need IS lens rule, I just want to know how effective they are. I mean, unless I want SUPER freezing motion, do I just need an IS lens for camera shake, even at night? What events do they work well in?
So let's recap. I want to eliminate camera shake, but not with built in flash. Also want xmm-300mm, IS will solve both problems, is it worth it/will it work?

If presented with two options, both equally as dangerous, in one the facts ar explained and there is no doubt left and the other one is completely unknown most people would chose the known over the unknown.

So why is the unknown so much more frightening than the known, why would people walk down a lit street that has violent people roaming on it instead of walking down an apparently empty alleyway for example?

Please explain your answers.

Thanks.

I am an international student (Asian) who is now studying Commerce at University of Toronto in Canada. I am very interested in pursuing a career in acting and I am now looking for good Acting programs preferably in New York City. I have heard of Stella Alder, AADA, HB Studio, Actors Studio, NYU, Julliard... But I dont know which ones are better. Secondly, the four year program of NYU is not affordable for me. Do you have any particular program in mind that you think I may benifit from? And is it common/ likely for an Asian student to succeed in an acting program in the States? And do you thinks it's a okay choice if I take 2 or more years off for performing arts program and try things out then go back to commerce if nothing works out for me as an actress?
