I have to pick another book for my english class and I'm not sure what to pick. I'm not a big fan of reading, so it has to be something interesting, fun, maybe a little thriller. I dont know. I've already read books like The Da Vinci Code, a child called "it", the sequel to that, the traveling pants, american chillers. I want a good book, that catches my eye. I never know what kind of book to pick because I never can find a genre that fits me. btw im in 10th grade. something around there. thanks for any help!!

What was the principle behind beating a child who did wrong during this time, or beating in general? Why was it done, what was it supposed to accomplish, frequency and severity?

When I say cheap I don't mean cheap quality, I would prefer walk-in stores rather than internet stores. Kodak is usually what I shoot, actually thats really all I shoot but I guess Im open to other suggestions. Thank You.

I was watching a documentary on Camelot, and it showed an aerial view of a huge white horse on a hillside. It is surrounded by grass, and I am assuming that it was created by placing stones on the ground to keep the grass from growing. It was shown in context with Stonehenge and other British landmarks pertaining to medieval times.

Anyone know exactly where it is and what it is called? I'd like to use Google Earth to see it, so a nearby town would be great!

Thanks in advance!

Also, and other nifty British landmarks that can be seen on Google Earth?

LITTLE ABIGALE
ABIGALE’S CHRISTMAS WISH

Abigale wants to know,
If it will ever snow.

“Mommy why is there no snow?” she asked
“It has to do with the weather outside.” replied her mom
“When the temperature is really cold,
The rain will turn into snow.”

With this Abigale went to her room,
Where she placed a wish and hoped it would come true.

Christmas is just two weeks away,
And by her window Abigale would stay.

Then one day her mom came to Abigale’s room.
“What do you want for Christmas?” her mom asked
“I want a white Christmas” Abigale replied
“No toys, no games, no bike?” her mom asked puzzled
“Nope, all I want is a white Christmas and that’s it.” Abigale said positively

For the next week Abigale sat and waited for the snow.
But her mom just didn’t know.

"Cosmology" can be described, briefly, as Ayn Rand's "sense of life," or to paraphrase Marcus Aurelius, to know what the universe is, who you are, and what your place is in the universe as you understand it to be.
Every character in "Moby Dick" says something cosmological almost every time he opens his mouth, including the preacher who climbs the pulpit before Ahab goes out looking for the great whale.
What are some books like this one that are your favorites?

I was thinking of submitting some to a micro stock agency. I can avoid demonstration teams such as the Thuderbirds. I was thinking on the lines of old warbirds or retired jets- nothing identifiable by owner.
