Has anyone researched the economic factors related to church reformation and reforms, especially focusing on how money was raised and how the clergy was compensated? Or is there any work dealing with the economic and social standing of clergy throughout the centuries?

i am mainly interested in a digital photo camera that will allow me to make very good pictures at night. i am planning to go on a trip around Europe and the camera that i have only takes good pictures at day. during the night, the pictures taken are blurry and out of focus. i tried every feature it had but the result was the same. i want to be able to take a photo of the moon, of Belgrade at night and any other lighted building. i know that it is possible. i just want to know with what kind of camera i can do that.

Ok , do you know what chapter or what page in the book "Narrative of the life of Frederick Douglass, an American Slave" has the qoute where he is talking about where he thinks that sailboats represent freedom, and beauty? I want the chapter that it's in in his first book, because I know he wrote two books, and I want the quote from the book he wrote when he was first out of slavery. Please help! Thanks so much!! I would really prefer the chapter that it's in, but page # is okay. Thanks!

I plan to paint the top of my laptop, as it is rather old, black, and boring, with acrylics. Has anyone does this? Does it pose a health hazard? Should I coat it with something to keep the paint from peeling?

Any suggestions would be helpful, thanks!

Usually I paint on paper or cardboard but I just bought a canvas to try. Do I have to prime it first? And would white paint work or would I need something special from the store?

My art project is 'curious objects' and from what research / work I've done so far I want to use toys and/or board game pieces.

I have collected old board games and lego bricks etc but am still decideding what I can do with them on my final project. I am thinking about maybe a sculpture or 3D work on canvas.

Does anyone have any ideas that could help me?
Thank you! :)

I can't find the answer.

Sparta was a very strong city-state in the south of Greece. It conquered its neighbor Messenia. The people of Messenia became helots. They were peasants forced to stay on the land they worked. They had to give the Spartans half of their crops. An assembly, the Council of Elders, and elected officials governed Sparta. Two kings ruled over Sparta's military. Sparta prized military skills. Boys joined the army at the age of seven and went through a long period of training as soldiers. Spartan women ran the family estates, freeing their husbands to serve in the army.
