I'd choose world peace over immortality any day. Just think of how many lives would be improved. I could never accept something that only benefited me, when I could just as easily choose something else that could change the entire world.
Besides, I'd hate to watch everyone I love die. Soon I would become afraid to form connections with people because of the fact that they will die, while I will not. Also, living forever would get boring after a while. I mean, eventually I'd get sick of living. Why on earth would I want to live forever? I like the thought of appreciating each day because I only have a limited amount of time. Keeps things interesting.

World Peace.
In many religions we believe that the soul is immortal. It is just the body that is mortal, and that is secondary to the soul.
In any case would you wish to be immortal if all your family and friends were mortal and the world is plagued with wars.
Living is a peacefull country this may seem like a reasonable question. However, (even though I have never experienced war myself) I am sure that if you experience war there would be no question in your mind as to what to choose here.

I would chose Immortality. You could choose world peace and die the next day. If you choose immortality, you would live long enough to see it happen anyway or cause it to happen.

Tough one...
Immortality would get kinda boring after the first few millenia, but then the world could be such a boring place with world peace, ....not to mention I'd be out of a job !
hell, if we're talking about the impossible then give me something decent, like Invisibility !

Most definitely world peace. The quality of everyone's living would be SO much more treasured with peace on this planet, and the quality of life is more valuable than the quantity of life. Plus with peace, everyone's lifespan is likely to increase!

Make everyone immortal. Then there would have to be world peace. Fighting must get really dull after you've lived through 5millenia of it......

wow this is just a question of benefiting yourself or the world really. but it depends on what age you would be immortal for. if i had to choose, probably world peace.

World peace. It would be awful to see all my loved ones pass away before me, especially my kids. Besides, world peace would benefit everyone, allowing for a higher quality life, if not a long one.

the international is easily no longer at peace. Too many diverse factions and cultures that dislike one yet another. the main suitable you would be able to desire to ever desire for is periodic peace. So, logically, i could pick immortality.
