Specifically in the early 1900s -1940s, was there a curfew in place for Americans ever? If so was it limited to juvenilles or adults as well? Were there fines or arrests for violating it? What time did it start?

I'm very curious to know, but can't find any information. Thanks

I've thought that since about Chamber Of Secrets and in The Deathly Hallows I thought his relasionship with Grindlewald just confirmed it. I was glad Jo Rowling said so though, I did wonder a bit if it was just my interpretation.

Soz about my spelling!

Thanks for all your great questions, it is fun to help others with their problems, or not, however you take it, it is meant lightly.

mommy

I don't want to go today,
My tummy aches, don't want to play.
I don't want to go to school,
Can't go outside I know the rule.
I'm scared to death, just play ill,
I don't care if I have to take a pill.
I never want to ever go back,
I'm too young for a heart attack.
Can't you see I can't go back,
I don't want any books to stack.
He is always touching me,
Can't you even try to see.
He's hurting me, leave me alone,
Locked in a room with no telephone.
Mommy, why won't you believe,
I'm your little boy, I'm little Steve.
I can't go back, it hurts too much,
I don't want him, I hate his touch.
Please someone, I'm just a child,
Didn't you ever wonder, I never smiled.

If you had to choose just one - who is the MOST culpable in war: The politicians who conceive it, the soldiers who allows themselves to be used as its instrument, or the people who put the politicians in power (or don't protest strongly enough)? Of course - this assumes a democracy with a volunteer army.
