I'd imagine that now and in the next few years there'd be scarcely more than a dozen in the world, if there are any at all.

Not many, but the most famous in the UK is a chap called Henry Allingham who fought in the First World War and is now 111 years old, having been born in 1896.

Allingham credits "cigarettes, whisky and wild, wild women — and a good sense of humour" for his longevity

Yes, I believe the oldest person right now is 113. That would do it. Not many left though and about 2015 there should be none left.

My grandma is 107 but was born in 1900

No, no one who is living today was 1800's if they were then they would be dead.
