Hi all, I recently discovered an artist who uses clay slip soaked fabric to create sculptures. I was wondering if any of you have ever tried this technique and how it works exactly. Also, what type of fabric and what type of clay would work best?

Hi, I am fourteen years old and am in the process of writing a chapter book. It will end up being 8 chapters long and approximately 100 type-written pages. I really want to get this published but I have no idea how to go about doing this. If you have any suggestions, they would be much appreciated. Please don't say things like "you're too young" and stuff -- I want to try. It is about girls in grade 10 so could be read by junior/senior high youths. Please help!

This happened to my Sansha Canvas ones. I haven't lost the whole thing but the left side of it is like in the shoe...you know what I mean?

About 2 years ago a poem was sent to me by a friend stating it was one of the top New Zealand written poems of the the year. I do not know the accuracy of that claim but the poem was about someone who caught a glance of a woman in waiting in a checkout queue at a supermarket and who his life unfolded with her ... in the next ten minutes.. it was quite beautiful and sad... to my memory but i only glanced at it and hardly remember the content.. but the narrantion was minute by minute.. does anyone know it please?

I know in general West Africa but I was wondering if anyone knew specific countries. I am interested in learning more about my African hertiage. Its a shame that I know more about the white side of my family (which, frankly, I could care less about, afterall, those were the same individuals that enslaved my family) than the black side! There is proscout thing in my town tomorrow, looking for aspiring models and actors/actresses. Are these things for real? And if they are do you have any reccomendations to stand out? I went to their website and it says that the most success rate is from ages 12-24 and I am 13. I want to become a model OR an actress... so do I need to choose? And also, I am not a toothpick like most models... will they turn me down because of that? Please tell me anything you know about this, because, as you can tell, I need help. Thanks for your time!
