you are no new to this busy life, & the kind of stress, strains,wear & tear the body go through to cope up with the daily schedules, & it needs its own time to get healed & rejuvinate, & be prepared for next day, So sleep of 8 hr is must for every nomal human being. sleep is a gift of nature to us to , heal, dream & nurture

sleeping is more of a physical thing than a philosophical. If you don't sleep enough, you will clinically go crazy (in as few as seven days). If you don't sleep at all, you will die. You can die from lack of sleep. It takes a long time (around 150 days), but it will happen.

If you want live long time you need sleep minimum 8 hours every day, dream is gasoil for our body, we are not of electricity, neither we have batteries.

All I know is if you go a really long time without sleeping you'll start to feel like superman and actualy try and do stuff like superman its called mania and its a phaze you can go into lol.
