Why don't they just live out their life and be done with it? Why does a tree spread its seeds? Why doesn't that tree just enjoy being a tree and that is it? Is there some reason it has that we don't know about? Yeah, sure, I know all living things are trying to pass on their genes, but why?

“On nation under God…” is a fragment out of the Pledge of Allegiance that clearly states that America is a country that founded and based upon Christian beliefs.

this is a fragment from a paper I am writing for school. what i really want is to insert a quote from a historical legal document (preferable the Declaration of Independance) that states that America was founded upon Christian beliefs.

If you're browsing the web or in a market and come across oil paintings; what would make you stop and consider purchasing? Price? Subject? For yourself? or as a gift?

I'm having trouble picking up a theme. I'm supposed to write a thesis on how Capote's style of writting in the book (like switching between the Clutter's and the killers, or adding in the long letters from Perry's family) is used to show the theme. Any suggestions?

It is obvious and completley logical that if we all cooperate with each other, forgive others for what they have done to us, forgive ourselves for how we have been behaving in the past, and make the effort to be compassionate and friendly towards others - it will make everyone as a whole, and thus yourself, happier, healthier, and more fulfilled in life. So, why don't we change all of our behaviours right now and make our lives and our world the best place to be? Isnt it obvious, so simple?

What excuse do you wish to give if you disagree? Who or what are you going to blame before you decide to look in the mirror, stand on your own two feet, and make a change?

The scars from the past are so deep that we have become afraid to make the jump, so deep that this simple question is pushed all the way to the back of our minds? Why only now do I recognise it explicitly. It seems like all my other questions can be summed up into this question.

I don't know...I was just observing communistic countries (present day and history) that are ran by dictatorship and noticed that communism and dictatorship is easier to obtain when minorities are rare. Are the people easier to control in countries like that?

i totally suck at this stuff.
and i cant afford to fail.
ive already done some of them...

you dont have to, i can do it myself.
but, if youre bored.
i know some of you love this stuff!

1. During World War II, the Soviet Union was an ally of the United States.

2. The United States never joined the United Nations.

3. Japan surrendered after atomic bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagaski.

4. The New Deal did not end the Great Depression.

5. The United Nations' decision to intervene in Korea was vetoed by the Soviet Union.

i'm gonna get to work on the rest of these, and hopefully our answers will be the same.

Can anybody teach me how to keep your main subjects still, and then rotate only the background, for example, a church as a background, it is rotated at about 45 degrees, but the subjects in front, let say some people posing, remained at a 90 degree angle, and all this was done without any special angle lens, anybody know?
