A group of prisoners at Colditz [the inventive Brits] managed to build a glider which was kept in the loft area of part of the castle of Colditz. The glider was not actually used because the castle was liberated by [I think] the Americans a couple of days before it was due to fly.

A replica of the glider was built here in UK a few years ago and some of the former POWs from Colditz turned up to see it fly - and it did, by being towed into the air behind a jeep. Brilliant.

Try this link for the Coldiz glider test flight [replica].

Colditz was a Luftwaffe prisoner camp thus the very senior officers wore Luftwaffe blue/grey uniforms, the main guard staff wore field grey and the special interrogation staff, run by the SS, wore their black uniform. There were only a handful of SS involved in Colditz. Dougie Bader, often related how he used to 'bait' them by hiding 'contraband' in his hollow legs, or not and as they searched him the other prisoners got the stuff in anyway.

Seeing as that was a POW camp, the best guess would be typical German gray uniforms. Even the SS wore gray uniforms for standard wear. I am not sure what branch of German troops guarded the place - Wehrmarcht, Luftwaffe, etc.

An SS dress uniform would have been black while a Werhmacht dress uniform would still be a gray color.
