I've taken a huge risk, most of my family continuously doubts me and tells me that I will regret my what I have done and am doing, but I made my spiritual decision, win or lose I put my whole being to the search of finding that which I yearn for, like a fish taken out of water gasping, YEARNING to be immersed back into the waters, you have to want it more than you can breath.
I've made many risk in search of truth, it has been an interesting journey to say the least and I am only 25 lol. When I graduated high school I decided not to go to college, or work instead I went into a period where I fasted from the world, or in words that can be relative became similar to a monk, from 18--->25 the life of a monk. My family spazzed out, because they had "high" hopes for me. Will it reap or will it end all bad? I have no regrets, I have made great growth in enlightenment, learned things, seen things, found things out that I never knew about the world or myself. Before I didn't know what I wanted to do, or where I was going, I do now though. But my family is fearful, they believe I am wasting my life, will have nothing to show for it, will be in a horrible place in the future. This may not be a risk of jumping off of a cliff or anything, but it is a different kind.
I have no fear. I sat out to prove these philosophical realities, a Philosophy not lived is worthless rhetoric.

The last time I took a major risk was getting out of bed this AM. But, the house didn't collapse, I didn't have a stroke or heart attack, and I managed to get the coffee pot and computer turned on without electrocuting myself
My motto has never been, "Leap and the net will appear." so much as it's been, "It needs doin' and fµck it, who wants to live forever anyway."

That is my motto for life.
I took a major risk by leaving my job for a different one. I was very unhappy at my old job....Now I am happeir now that I am free from that old place.
But really, I see everyday as an adventure.... Each thing we do involves a risk, but most are worth taking.

Wow, I am taking this giant leap right now! Our family business is getting ready to expand and grow from doing it out of our house and just a work van to an actual shop with additional services to be offered. (We are an autoglass company and will be adding tinting services)
I am so excited that we have become so successful, but on the other hand I am terrified that what we have now will be ruined by this step. I have both of my eyes shut tight and I am jumping in with both feet while saying a prayer that this is the right thing to do!

The logical mind seldom permits us to consciously take such risk 'willingly'.
But in such rare moments, even if it happens unprepared, if a person can keep aside the fear for a moment, a person can notice and experience what it means to live life totally, fully, with alertness at its sharpest, consciousness at it peak! We can have a true glimpse of life, and perhaps even divinity!

I do it every time I fall in love. Yes, the net is there, but it still hurts when it catches you.

Every time I speak the truth to someone. People don't like to have the truth about how they come off to others told to them.
