I think having a goal in life makes us stay focused and more able to see successes in our life. Of course, if the goal is unreachable or impossible, there will be limited or no success.
What is your goal? What are you doing to win that goal in your life?

I'm doing a project on symmetry for art class, and these designs are not only too hard to copy, but they seem too hard to make from the ground.

who do YOU think creates these masterpieces?

We are a small-ish high school in Iowa, and we need ideas to sell more tickets to our musical "Fiddler on the Roof." What can we do to get more people to come? (We already advertise with posters, on the radio, in the newspaper. Any better ideas? 10 points to best answer!)

Of course, we are dealing with the Declaration of Independence. They aren't in alphabetical order, but they are in order of length. Was that just a literaary tool used by Jefferson, or did he place them in order of importance?

I have a Canon 400D and I am currently shooting in P Mode.
Although, I'd like to get more versatile with the camera and start shooting in Manual.
Basically, I just need to know what the settings need to be at when I'm shooting during the day when it's sunny, and during the evening.
ISO, Aperture, etc.

Thank you all in advance!!

I just love to read some peoples' idiotic questions over things like 9/11.

If it wasnt for the United States especially during the 20th century, there is a good chance that even today most of the world would be ruled by Germany and Japan.

In 1917 the United States saved France and Britian from defeat. Oh you might argue that, but fact is that Both countries were on the verge of defeat. French and british troops were nearly out of supplies. Britian was being starved to death by a Sub fleet they couldnt defeat.

In World War II, Britian needed us to keep them able to fight. Russia wasnt able to defeat germany alone. We stopped both wars.

We have done things in the past that might be injustice, the indians and such. But compared to most nations we are very sane.

Oh plus the fact that those who did all that slaughtering come from countries like Spain, France, britian.

People should stop talking sh*t when they dont know what they are talking about.

(I finished this last night. Already I've been told it's 'cute.' But is it something more than cute? It's a little too long to fit into the alloted space here so please wait until I add the rest of the poem in 'Details'.)

Twinkle, Twinkle Crying Star

If
each elephant envisions
erroneous epithets,
while wombats wander worldwide
wordlessly wondering why,
mongooses maintain mostly
morose mouthy monologues,
and aardvarks act aimlessly
avoiding all affection -

If
poor pious possums ponder
plaintive, painful platitudes,
confused, caustic cattle can't
compose cud coherently,
wounded woodpeckers worry
without wiggly, witless worms,
cautious, crying crocodiles
cannot contemplate chaos -

If
reptiles reject regression,
eagles equate erosion,
dolphins detest dire dogma,
camels cringe collectively,
bears bare begrudging burdens,
tortoises try to tunnel,
owls oust outlandish options,
horses have hemorrhages,

And
skunks smell sudden suicide -
