My husband was on vacation in Manhattan W/his brother and his buddy, I was at home sleeping. My husband called me and said don't worry I'm fine. I'm like that's nice, I'm sleeping. He told me to turn on the TV, and I was in SHOCK!!!!!!! He told me that they had planned to go to the WTC that morning (which is odd because my dad used to live in Manhattan and we NEVER do touristy thing when we're there, apparently his bro wanted to see it) but his bud wanted to party the night before so they slept in. Thank God!!!!! If B. wasn't an alcoholic,my husband, brother in law and B. would be dead!!!!!!!!

I was in class when my friend walked by and said "the twin towers are on fire." When class got out, someone was yelling" one of the twin towers is missing!!" We all go to the back of the school (you can see them from there) and saw that there was only one tower missing and the other was up in smoke. Some of the stupid freshman looked at each other and laughed.... My best friend's father was in tower 2 and they were being told to stay calm but he decided to leave and made it out right before the plane hit. He was injured but recovered and moved to florida. We just spent the rest of the day watching the news.

I had just gotten out of class and was on my way to my next one. The Lobby was packed full of people watching tv. I looked up just to see the second plane hit.
I left after that to go to my next class.
It didnt really get what i saw until my teacher came into the class room and mentioned it, then i was like O s**t!

I was sitting in the library at school, and one of the teachers turned on the TV. I couldn't believe my eyes. Isn't it weird how people can remember exactly what they were doing 6 years ago....? I think it is so weird. I remember that but not what i did yesterday.

Junior year of high school in my choir class. A girl sitting behind me burst into tears and ran out of the room. Her uncle worked in the twin towers. Luckily he was safe.

I live in California...so, my husband and I were still in bed. Our clock radio clicked on to our morning new channel and that's when we heard the panic-ridden voices reporting about the first tower having been hit.

At first, I thought I must be dreaming. This can't really be happening. But, I turned and looked at my husband who had already sat up in bed to find him holding his head with his hands exclaiming, "Oh, my God!" At that moment I knew it was real.

God Bless America....and NEVER FORGET!
