most teachers and christians tell you you can not change the world and that you arte to worry about your own salvation nto others. they say i can not risk my soul going to hell for the sake of possibly bringing others closer to christ, and for the sake of helping to make this planet a more peacefull place to live, a safer place to live. but the bible tells me differrent. it says that if i lay my life down for another, then i will be received in the body of christ. it says that the person that wishes to save his own life will lose. so this last sentence it has two meanings. if you wish to save your life you must lay your life down, and second, if you are concerned with your own life more than the lives of others then you will not be accepted in the body of christ, you will lose your life that you expect to come in christ, for you are selfish. one way to be in the body of christ, that is to do things in the exact manner that christ would do them, or the body is no longer christ.

For those of you that shoot Models, what do you do about their escorts??

Generally, I have no problem with escorts for safety, or even to assist the model in between sets for clothing/makeup touchups, etc..., but recently, I have had to ban "romantic" interests from shoots totally, and even require escorts to stay out of eyesight of the shoot. It just seems to be harder to get models to focus on the work, and stop socializing with there escort.

Hubby's/boyfriends have become a real nightmare too (even in casual clothing shoots), attempting to get involved in directing the shoot, and models looking to them all the time for approval. I recently cancelled 2 shoots after starting because of the interference.

Is it like this for everyone??

A recent question, and more to the point an answer to that question, has me wondering what folks consider to be history. Does a controversy, no matter if it's political or something else, fit your view of history? Or to you is history just important dates and speeches?

See, to me this contrevesy is still a part of history, in fact as I type this it becomes a part of history. History isn't just important dates and speeches to me. It's not just the major figures involved in those dates or giving those speeches. It's everything that has happened or is currently happening. But it's broken down into the present, recent history, not so recent history, distant history, ancient history, and prehistoric history. Present history are things that are currently happening to within the last few days all others are covered in terms of days and years.

What is history to you?

The English colonies in North America did not practice slavery before the 1660s. Initially Indentured Servants supplied the labor needs of planters to grow the lucrative crops of tobacco. Yet after 1660, slavery was established and became an institution throughout the colonies.

How did an indentured servant live thier lives? and why was slavery introduced in the colonies? why did planters decided to replace indentured servants with slave? How was the slave trade carried out? What were the results of slavery for slaves and planters?

I know photography has alot of rules and whatnot, but what if I do not wish to follow any of them and just photograph with my own rules and techniques? Would I not be considered a photographer? would my pictures not be considered art? I am taking a photography class and theres rules that "should be followed", but while in class, I always say to myself, i dont want to do that or this. Any advice?

What other nice couple could come up with a package like Christianity. The idea sure answers a lot of unanswered questions. And presents some more.
