I was wondering what exactly do you take to a movie audition? I don't want to go to one and look stupid and not prepared lol.

You had better take some experience and know how. You do know that the only legitimate movie auditions other than for extras are through an agent? The rest are SCAMS.

Oh, yeah, better take a parent, too, you cant work professionally with our your parents' consent until you are 18.

not one of those supplying you with answers really knows anything about becoming a professional actor. How sad. If you are under 18 and from your letter it sure seems like it, your parents have to get you auditions, In fact, they have to make your career for you. That is how it is done. It does no good to waste money on all those sites like Star Now and Explore Talent. They are not going to send you auditions you can participate in anyway. They are just ways for people to get money from over eager kids who want to be actors. But back to basics, it is up to your parents if you are going to have a teen career or not. Period. End of story.

Heya.
Bring your bio, acting resume, and ALL related experience. Leave your attitude at home and your ego at the door.
If it's a really big deal they may have a 'plant' in the waiting room. They do this to see if anyone is really-really sweet in the audition but a ***** to the other actors/actresses in audition. No one wants to work with a phony. At least I don't. Answer all questions honestly, as there will be at least 1 test of honesty on stage.

Yourself, be on time or early, a copy of your headshot with your resume attached trimmed to size.Make sure your resume has all you current contact info. If you are supposed to have a monologue prepared make sure that you have one memorized and ready to go. There are some very good webzines with info for actors like actor's info booth, fab actor I am not sure of their exact urls but you can look them up online. Bob Fraser has written some great articles for actors you could try searching his name and finding the links to some of his articles.

normally it depends on the movie usually you need bring a resume and headshot wich CAN be in color but is normally in black and white, Youe should also bring a monolouge or a few bars of music to sing. wear simple but nice looking and clean clothing. If they want you to learn a speach or some diologe be sure to memorize it. This is really hard to say because it very much depends on the movie

Headshots, and a resume. The headshots so they will know how you look on camera, and a resume to check for your experience on playing certain parts. Bring a short monologue, just to be on the safe side, in case they don't give you a script beforehand.

the copy of the script, do your make up before you get there, and be ready. you don't need to bring anything in the way of props or an entourage. just your self, your script and a purse.
