Well I was just wondering so where did Miley here about the auditions?
Like in the news
Or the newspaper?
Or WHAT????
And she didn't hear about it from her dad
And they didn't make that show for her specifically for her.

There's this really expensive session in acting. It might really good but I'm sure on it.
But there's a cheaper one, but it could be rubbish but it looks quite cool.
So shall I go for the cheap one? Or the expensive one?

.... think there is NO Universal Purpose or Meaning behind any of this?

Either way, the whole Purpose/Meaning argument appears to be cyclical and humanistic, not to mention paradoxically "New Agey and Mind-Over-Matter-ish", unless there is an unending memory of it all preserved "somewhere" (figuratively speaking) in the very potential of The Universe Itself that is somehow fundamental to the core workings and physical mechanics of Its existence. …Otherwise, LIFE - self-conscious or otherwise - is ultimately nothing but a Meaningless Universal/Organic Exercise.

Thanks for your comments.

P.S. NO, I am NOT religious, nor was this question asked from a religious point of view. I AM MERELY ASKING: WHAT'S IN IT FOR THE UNIVERSE, IF ANYTHING AT ALL?

I am auditioning for a local community theater production of "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf" and I need to have a 1-2 minute monologue. We can have either have a comic or serious monologue. I just read a summary of the play and from what I can tell it is serious with some comedic moments. I also called my local library and I will be picking up a copy of the play later today. Does anyone have any suggestion? Thanks for your help.

I am trying to think of examples of great literature (classic or modern) that reveal something about human nature or "why people do what they do". The only thing I can think of is with Lord of the Rings. Sam and Frodo went on that terrible journey and Frodo sacrificed himself because they're so "good" and of course they truimphed over evil for the greater good, the rest of the world, but paid a terrible price. any ideas? This may be confusing but it's hard to put into words what I'm looking for.
