Many of the have died within the past year or 2 after being alive since before 1930, many are still alive. The mother and grandmother of them all is still alive. Funny the kennedy compound where many of them live and where they all vacation is right down the street from me. maybe i should just go ask them.

I've read about wars between rival nations for territory, and how this nation gave up so much territory because it lost the war. The Romans made an empire, the Mongols made an empire, the Ottomans made an empire.

But today you don't have countries going to war with each other and taking each other's lands. No countries are making empires today. And nobody tell me the war in Iraq is really a war, it's just a series of skirmishes.

When did the conquering stop and boundaries became absolute?

It dates back to about 300 years ago and there a books which contain much, i stress, belivable information. At first when I heward of it I thought what a load of rubbish! can anyone explain more, someone who may follow this "cult" more closely.

Yeah, I don't know how to word that well. I'm bored, I want to do something with these plain jeans I've got that I never wear. I was thinking I'd draw a big face on the leg. What I've got picture is one of those old looking sketches of like, a young girl from the 20's or around then. I hope you know what I mean :? I'm not that good of an artist but if I could find a nice picture I like I'd like to use it to copy onto the jeans. Do you know of any nice pictures like this? Just a simple face, nnot too busy. I hope you can understand what I'm looking for, I'm not great with words hehe
Your help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Contact

My fingers are the contact beteen you and me;
Caressing your fingers through the mysterious web
Of silicon circuits, electronic nerve fibers,
Beckoning to me through a vast won'drous universe.
Your fingers, caressing mine, as they press out my passion
Onto small white keys, playing the melody of contact
Stroking your conscious thought from my desire to yours.
Heaven in the middle, God surrounding;

A concourse of angels, silent sentinels, stand observing
Approving? Not disparaging: my motives are pure.
Seeking understanding and encouragement
From a simple smile which slides through fingers trembling,
Asking nothing but awareness, reaching out through the darkness,
Touching your fingers, bringing the joy immmeasurable,
Wrapping around my soul, and you smile
And I smile.

Think about it, one day with our technology we will probably be able to simulate emotions and day to day activities for artificial intelligence in a video simulation (ie. "The Sims" but much more advanced). So what are the chances that this has already happened and we are the product of that simulation by another intelligence.

Yes... I know this is like the matrix.... and yes I've read and heard what Nick Bostrom has said about this, hence my interest. Let's hear your answer.

This was a loosely organized, semi-underground group, quite widespread throughout Germany, mainly consisting of 14-to-18 year old males. They evaded inclusion in the Hitler Jugend, and occasionally engaged in street battles against the HJ. They also aided deserters and draft-evaders in WW2. In 1944, Himmler ordered the Gestapo to go after them: as a result, at least thirteen were publicly hanged.
